Then I check my email.
I get a daily Bible verse in my email, and today's was Psalm 16:1-2:
Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge. I say to the LORD, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.”David took the words right out of my mouth! It was incredibly comforting to read those words, and I just sat and meditated on them for a little bit. It reminded me that God will always do what's best for me, even if sometimes it's not all daisies and roses. It's the same as when I make my basketball girls condition or do a hard drill in practice..it's not fun at all for them, but I know it is what's best for them.
So anyways, take comfort in that today, that God is a refuge. He makes it VERY clear in the scriptures that He is always there for you and will never give his children second best.
Hard to believe that in exactly 20 hours I will be on the plane....!
I will do my best to blog throughout the trip, but I am unsure of how much time and/or internet access I will have. If I am able to, I will blog as much as possible, but if it doesn't work out that I can, just continue to pray for the work God has set out for me to do :)
